Yesterday, the official Pokémon website announced '''2011 Autumn Friendly,''' a Wi-Fi tournament for players of non-Japanese and non-Korean {{game|Black and White|s}} games.

In order to participate, players need a {{bp|Pokémon Trainer Club}} account and access to the Global Battle Union section of the {{bp|Pokémon Global Link}} website. Signups will be from Oct. 12 to 19, with 10,000 spaces only available. The actual tournament will take place over {{bp|Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection}} from Oct. 20 to 24.

The rules for this tournament will be that of the {{bp|2011 World Championships|2011 Video Game Championships}}. Using the standard VGC Double-Flat Battle rules, players may only use the only eligible Pokémon—those found in the {{bp|Unova Pokédex}}, with the exception of {{bp|Victini}}, {{bp|Reshiram}}, {{bp|Zekrom}}, {{bp|Kyurem}}, {{bp|Keldeo}}, {{bp|Meloetta}} and {{bp|Genesect}}.
