In Pokémon GO a new set of Field Research tasks focusing on {{bp|Electric-type}} Pokémon and Pokémon originally discovered in the {{bp|Johto|Johto region}} will become available on August 1st at 1:00 p.m. {{wp|Pacific Time Zone|PDT}}. If the player collects enough stamps by completing Field Research tasks on seven different days the {{bp|Legendary Pokémon}} {{bp|Raikou}} will become available to catch as a Research Breakthrough reward.
