Pokémon the Movie: ''{{bp|M16|Genesect and the Legend Awakened}}'' will be shown in Australia at selected {{wp|Hoyts}} theaters from November 16, 2013; it will be available on DVD in Australia and New Zealand on December 4, 2013. There will be TCG demonstrations preceding selected screenings.

Additionally, {{bp|Beyond Home Entertainment}} in conjunction with {{bp|Tomy}}, {{bp|Banter Toys & Collectibles}}, and {{bp|Nintendo}} are running The Grand Pokémon Contest, a contest with a gigantic prize pack with items from all four contributors. Australian and New Zealand residents are eligible to enter. The prize pack is valued at over $2,300. Entries for the contest are accepted until November 24, 2013. While only one person will win the prize pack, ten runners-up will receive the ''Genesect and the Legend Awakened'' DVD.
