{{update}} Additional information was announced. Pinsir will be level 50 and have an {{bp|Adamant}} Nature. It will have the moves {{m4|X-Scissor|Earthquake|Stone Edge|Return}} and will have either {{a|Mold Breaker}} or {{a|Hyper Cutter}} for its Ability. {{p|Heracross}} will be level 50 and have an Adamant Nature. It will have the moves {{m4|Bullet Seed|Pin Missile|Close Combat|Megahorn}} and will have the {{a|Swarm}} or {{a|Guts}} Ability. 

In what is possibly National Geographic Kids magazine, two event distributions have been announced for the US. Serial codes for {{bp|Pinsirite}} and {{bp|Heracronite}} will be available at participating GameStop stores from Aug. 18 until Aug. 31, while supplies last. {{p|Heracross}} and {{p|Pinsir}} will be distributed via Mystery Gift from Aug. 13 until Sept. 17.

Each code will be random and different for each {{bp|Mega Stone}}. They will be available until supplies last.
