A {{p|Hoopa}} {{bp|distribution}} will take place in the United States and France starting in November. This is the first time this {{bp|Mythical Pokémon}} can be obtained in these countries.

In France, Hoopa will be available in participating {{wp|Micromania (video game retailer)|Micromania}} stores in France from November 2 to November 22, 2015. In the US, Hoopa will be available at participating {{wp|McDonald's}} restaurants via {{bp|Nintendo Zone}} from November 27 to December 23, 2015.

Hoopa can be obtained in both {{bp|Pokémon X and Y}} and {{bp|Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire}}.

Hoopa will be {{bp|Level}} 50, hold a {{bp|Focus Sash}}, and know the moves {{m4|Psychic|Astonish|Nasty Plot|Hyperspace Hole}}. It will be contained in a {{bp|Cherish Ball}}.

In Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, when entering a {{bp|Poké Mart}} with Hoopa in their party, players will be able to receive a {{bp|Prison Bottle}}, allowing them to transform Hoopa Confined into Hoopa Unbound, as which it can use the move {{bp|Hyperspace Fury}}.
