Codes to obtain {{p|Marshadow}} will be available at retailers in the Americas and Europe in October this year. It will come with the {{bp|Marshadium Z}}, which allows it to use its exclusive {{bp|Z-Move}}, {{m|Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike}}.

American region codes will be available from different stores in each country.
*In the United States, it will be available at {{bp|GameStop}} stores from October 9 to 23, 2017.
*In Canada, it will be available at participating stores from October 9 to 23, 2017. The official site states that it will be available at GameStop stores in Canada, but this is likely an error.
*In Latin America, it will be available at participating stores from October 9 to 23, 2017. The stores at which it will be available have not yet been announced.

{{wp|PAL region}} codes will be available from participating stores which have yet to be announced.
*In the United Kingdom, it will be available at participating stores from October 1 to November 16, 2017.
*In France, it will be available at participating stores from October 1 to November 16, 2017.
*In Germany, it will be available at participating stores from October 1 to November 16, 2017.
*In Italy, it will be available at participating stores from October 1 to November 16, 2017.
*In Spain, it will be available at participating stores from October 1 to November 16, 2017.

Marshadow will be {{bp|level}} 50 and know the moves {{m4|Spectral Thief|Close Combat|Force Palm|Shadow Ball}}. The announcement states that it will hold a {{bp|Marshadium Z}}, but Marshadow is more likely to be bundled with the Marshadium Z, as is done with other event-exclusive {{bp|Z-Crystal}}s, since Z-Crystals that appear in the Bag to create held Z-Crystals cannot themselves be held.
