Nintendo of Greece announces its second Greek Pokémon Championships, with support from the fansite {{bp|Legendary Pokémon (site)|Legendary Pokémon}}. {{bp|Player character|Players}} who are willing to participate in the championships can send their forms between Dec. 10 and 18. Tournament battles will be held via {{bp|Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection}} while the finals and semi-finals will be run live on Jan. 30, 2010 in the Saturn Megastore in Kallithea, Athens.

The tournament rules state that players have to decide on the date for their battles through Nintendo of Greece's forums. Therefore, participation is limited to those who are fluent in Greek.

Participants have a chance to win a copy of {{bp|Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions|Pokémon HeartGold or SoulSilver}}, a {{bp|WiiWare}} or {{bp|Nintendo DSi|DSiWare}} game of the winner's choice and protective cases for the {{bp|Nintendo DS}}, courtesy of Nortec Multimedia, the official representative of Nintendo in the Balkans and Turkey. The winner will also receive a dozen of rare and elusive Pokémon, which include {{p|Arceus}}, {{p|Shaymin}}, {{p|Jirachi}} and {{p|Regigigas}}, courtesy of Legendary Pokémon.
