Pokémon Day, first named last year for the {{bp|Pokémon 20th Anniversary}}, is the anniversary of the release of {{game|Red and Green|s}} in Japan, Feb. 28. All wild Pikachu encountered in Pokémon GO during this period will be wearing a party hat. {{p|Raichu}} evolved from party hat Pikachu will also be wearing a party hat.
