Nintendo has announced the Pokémon Adventure Tour events to take place in various outdoor events in the UK during August. There will be five different areas called the Pokémon Battle Zone, the Pokémon Game Zone, Pokémon Fun Zone, Pokémon Training Centre and Pokémon Lounge.

The Pokémon Battle Zone will be the area for battling and trading with players of Generation V main series Pokémon and challenging a Pokémon expert for the chance to win a prize. The Pokémon Game Zone will be the area for playing trial versions of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity , Pokémon Conquest, Super Pokémon Rumble, Learn with Pokémon: Typing Adventure and Pokémon Dream Radar as well as the latest Pokémon Trading Card Game expansions. In the Pokémon Fun Zone attendees will be able to have their faces painted as their favourite Pokémon character, have their photo taken with Pikachu or they could try to catch a Pokémon plush toy in the Pokémon Grabber Machine. The Pokémon Training Centre will be the area for learning about Pokémon if attendees don't know about the series and it will include a master class on how to battle. The Pokémon Lounge will be the area to watch episodes of the Pokémon anime.
