A new video for [[bp:Pokémon Platinum Version|Pokémon Platinum]] debuted at Pokémon Festa this week. While the video reuses footage from previous trailers, new footage revealed the following:

* Footage from the opening video, displaying [[bp:Lucas (game)|Lucas]] and [[bp:Dawn (game)|Dawn]] running and then releasing [[bp:Prinplup (Pokémon)|Prinplup]], [[bp:Chimchar (Pokémon)|Chimchar]] and [[bp:Torterra (Pokémon)|Torterra]] and [[bp:Infernape (Pokémon)|Infernape]], [[bp:Piplup (Pokémon)|Piplup]] and [[bp:Grotle (Pokémon)|Grotle]] from [[bp:Poké Ball|Poké Balls]]. Torterra and [[bp:Empoleon (Pokémon)|Empoleon]] proceed to use [[bp:Leaf Storm (move)|Leaf Storm]] and [[bp:Bubblebeam (move)|Bubblebeam]].

* Footage from the new [[bp:Battle Frontier (Sinnoh)|Battle Frontier]], including a stage with some sort of random stadium and what appears to be the Battle Factory. There is also some sort of castle-like battling arena and a [[bp:Super Contest|Contest]]-esque runaway featuring a [[bp:Lucario (Pokémon)|Lucario]] display overhead.

* The [[bp:Global Trade Station|Global Trade Station]] is seen with teleporters leading to two separate rooms. The Wi-Fi game room is also revealed, displaying several games — one in which a [[bp:Mime Jr. (Pokémon)|Mime Jr.]] is controlled on a circus ball via touch screen and the previously revealed [[bp:Swalot (Pokémon)|Swalot]] game.

* Lucas is seen in a Piplup-themed boat in an unknown location.

* [[bp:Giratina (Pokémon)|Giratina]] is shown with footage of its summoning to Spear Pillar.

* Lucas is seen going through the new tunnels on [[bp:Route 206|Sinnoh's Cycling Road]].

* Dawn is shown with a Piplup following her, perhaps in [[bp:Amity Square|Amity Square]].

* [[bp:Croagunk (Pokémon)|Croagunk]]'s animated back sprite is revealed.

* Viewers see for the first time that in Platinum, prior to battling a [[bp:Gym Leader|Gym Leader]], the animated strip now says ''VS''.

* A double battle featuring Lucas and [[bp:Pearl (game)|Pearl]] versus [[bp:Volkner|Volkner]] and [[bp:Flint (Elite Four)|Flint]], who now have animated sprites.

* Finally, footage of Lucas using [[bp:Waterfall (move)|Waterfall]] to reach the Pokémon League is shown. The new building looks slightly orange in tint, and Waterfall appears to move faster than shown in [[bp:Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Versions|Diamond and Pearl]].
