This may be refuted, but I always thought that Starter colors went, light-dark-light or dark-light-dark? As in how Mudkip starts off dark then Marshtomp is light, followed by Swampert light again, and the opposite being true for the Charmander line. Also, in my opinion the secondform for Pokabu looks very cartoony, and has been featured a few times in youtube videos, Im really hoping they aren't the true evolution. Oh my goodness, I saw this both at /vp/ and Serebii, and to be blunt, it's a bit unnerving.
