:::I can say that it's most certainly not a mistranslation; however, the English wording has been made more specific than the Japanese wording.  To elaborate: the Japanese text says that it is "far away from Kanto and Johto" - other regions are not mentioned, '''however''' the "and" that is used implies that there are other items in the list that have not been included.  It's like an implied "et cetera." I like the idea of a 'Light' type. Perhaps some older Pokémon could be given it as a second type. e.g. the Togepi
After all, Togetic evolves with a 'Shiny' stone... even if it is already part flying type.
