The third downloadable episode for {{bp|Pokémon Conquest}} is available via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection from now until December 31, 2012. This episode features {{bp|Ranmaru}} with his {{p|Dragonair}}.

During the storyline, the player must defeat Ranmaru to progress through the game; however, he cannot be befriended at that time. Ranmaru can be befriended after completing the episode. Once Ranmaru is befriended, he can become a part of the player's army. This event will only be available to the player after they have gone through the first ending sequence.
