The premiere date for the fourth series of the popular Pocket Monsters anime has been announced. The Best Wishes! series will air for the first time on September 23, 2010.

Pikachu will appear in Best Wishes!.

A preview of the debut episode has been revealed. It features a Pikachu getting hit by a couple of falling carton boxes. It is not yet known whether this Pikachu is Satoshi's, another Trainer's Pikachu, or a wild Pikachu. However, Pikachu has been confirmed not to appear in the Isshu Pokédex listing.

The current Pocket Monsters series, Diamond & Pearl series, will conclude on September 9 with 思い出はパール！友情はダイヤモンド！！ Memories are Pearls! Friendship is a Diamond!!.
