Handheld-only Nintendo Switch Lite announced

The system will be available in three different colors: yellow, grey and turquoise.
 
It is marketed as a cheaper alternative to the flagship Nintendo Switch. It has a suggested retail price of US$199.99 in the United States, CA$259.99 in Canada, AU$329.95 in Australia, and ¥19,980 in Japan, ₩249,800 in South Korea, HK$1,490 in Hong Kong, and NT$6,180 in Taiwan.

Additionally, a Pokémon special edition variant, the Nintendo Switch Lite Zacian and Zamazenta Edition, will be available after its launch. This special edition is white with red and blue buttons, and features lineart of the cover {{bp|Legendary Pokémon}} from {{bp|Pokémon Sword and Shield}}, {{p|Zacian}} and {{p|Zamazenta}}. It will be released in Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan on Nov. 1, 2019; and in North America, Europe, and Australia on Nov. 8, 2019.
